Commerce + CRM sync
Integration points:
- Commerce — a paid order triggers license delivery and watermark embedding automatically, and notifies CRM when a fan subscribes
- Spatial — 3D walkable exhibitions render with multiplayer presence
- AI — stem separation and mastering route through the platform's AI provider layer with an honest fallback: if no provider is configured, the response says so plainly rather than fabricating a result
- Bridge GPU — when local GPU acceleration is available, stem separation runs substantially faster; it falls back to CPU processing automatically when no GPU is available
Forensic Watermarking — Leak Tracing
| Layer | Purpose | Visibility |
|---|---|---|
| Preview watermark | "PREVIEW — BUY AT AEIONICA.COM" burned into preview clips (tiled, semi-transparent, includes track name); injected into each HLS segment | **Visible** — for browsing |
| Forensic watermark | Buyer fingerprint embedded directly in the audio waveform and in image data | **Invisible** — for court-admissible leak tracing |
Stem Separation — 4-Stem AI Isolation
Source audio is validated and normalized to a standard studio format, then run through an AI separation model that isolates vocals, drums, bass, and everything else into four independent stems (a 6-stem HD mode adds guitar and piano). When a local GPU is available, separation runs at roughly 10x playback speed; without one, it falls back to CPU processing at roughly real time. Each stem is post-processed, uploaded, and made available for download or licensing.

| Public Performance | Venue playback / live events, up to 5M cumulative audience | $149.99 | No | — |
| Broadcast | TV / radio / streaming broadcast, up to 10M audience | $299.99 | Yes | — |
| Sync | Film/video sync with stem delivery, up to 1M audience | $499.99 | Yes | unlimited downloads |
| Copyright Transfer | Full ownership transfer to the buyer, unlimited uses | $9,999.99 | Yes | exclusive transfer |
| Exclusive | Single-buyer exclusive; artist retains copyright | Custom | Yes | item locked to buyer |
| AI Training | License for inclusion in AI training datasets | $0 | — | disabled by default — tenant opt-in |
Fan Analytics — Play Intelligence
Every play event captures who played it, when, how far into the track they got (completionPct), device type, country/city, referrer, and any seek events during playback.
Top fans by lifetime value — ranks fans by total spend across licenses and fan-tier subscriptions, with license count and active-subscription status.
Top fans by engagement — a composite score from total plays, distinct tracks played, and license count.
Geographic heatmap — country-level breakdown of play count and distinct buyer count, aggregated from play history.
Cohort retention — fans grouped by acquisition month, with retention measured at 1, 3, and 6 months out.
Fan segments — mega fans, at-risk fans, and dormant fans, computed from the same underlying engagement and LTV data so you can target re-engagement campaigns.
Inbox context — when a fan DMs you, the same LTV and last-purchase data surfaces directly in the conversation view.
HLS DRM — AES-128 Per-Session
Session flow: a listener requests a streaming session; access is validated against their subscription or license tier before anything else happens. If territorial enforcement is active (Enterprise), the listener's region is checked against the track's allowed/blocked list, and a blocked region gets a clear "not available in your region" response instead of a stream.
Once access is confirmed, a unique encryption key and initialization vector are generated for that session only. The listener receives a streaming manifest whose segments are all individually encrypted — the decryption key is never embedded in the manifest itself, only a protected reference (a short-lived, 5-minute signed token) to fetch it.
Segment encryption: each audio segment is encrypted with AES-128 before delivery. Without a valid, unexpired session, a client can fetch the encrypted segments but has no way to decrypt or play them.
Data Model — What Aeionica Tracks
Media — every uploaded track, video, or image is stored with its original and processed files, a preview clip, waveform data, duration, file size, and format. Auto-enriched metadata (BPM, musical key, mood tags, genre, tags, lyric transcription) rides alongside it, plus album/track ordering, which license tiers and prices apply, exclusivity status, whether stems and a mastered version exist, play/download/like counts, and DRM/territorial settings.
Licenses — every purchase records the track, buyer, tier, and price; the generated contract and its signed status; whether the forensic watermark was embedded and for whom; the rights actually granted (territory, commercial use, usage caps, expiration); and the purchase status (pending / active / expired / revoked) tied to its payment record.
Fan tiers — each tier records its name, monthly price, the benefits it grants (early access window, discount percentage, exclusive content, community role, behind-the-scenes access, etc.), subscriber caps and current count, and its payout configuration.
Stems — each separation job records the track, the four isolated stem files, a quality rating, processing time, and when it completed.
Why It's Built This Way
Watermarking
Inaudible in-waveform fingerprint — survives MP3 compression, DAW processing, and reverb; holds up as court-admissible evidence
Watermark payload
Buyer, timestamp, license, transaction — enough to identify exactly who leaked a file and when
Stem separation
GPU-accelerated 4-stem AI model — fast processing, automatic CPU fallback when no GPU is available
HLS encryption
AES-128 per session — industry standard; key rotation prevents a single leaked link from being shared indefinitely
License contracts
Auto-generated PDF from a per-tier template — legally binding, no manual paperwork per sale
Fan analytics
Per-play event tracking — powers LTV ranking, engagement scoring, and cohort retention, not just aggregate play counts
Print fulfillment
Printful + Printify — 200+ products, dropship, no inventory to hold
Collab splits
Stripe Connect — multi-party payouts with tax compliance handled by Stripe
Provider fallback
Honest status reporting — if a provider isn't connected, you're told so directly, never a fabricated success
