Aeion Affiliates vs Third-Party Platforms
Discover why high-growth brands are moving away from PartnerStack and Rewardful to eliminate excessive revenue-share fees and brittle integrations.

Decisive Architectural Advantages
Zero Rev-Share Fees
We don't tax your partner growth. The platform is included in your Aeion OS subscription. Keep 100% of the margins you negotiated with your affiliates.
Perfect Data Synchronization
Because Affiliates, Commerce, and Billing share the exact same database schema, there are no lost webhooks. Promo codes at checkout map deterministically to the partner.
Instant Refund Reversals
If an order is returned in Commerce, a reversal entry is created automatically in the affiliate's ledger. No manual reconciliation at the end of the month.
Native Stripe Payouts
Payouts are orchestrated securely using your existing Stripe Connect or PayPal integration via the native Aeion Billing module.
Where PartnerStack and Rewardful Still Win
Honesty matters when you're choosing where partner payouts run, so here's the fair version. PartnerStack operates a public partner marketplace where SaaS companies discover and recruit new partners they don't already have a relationship with — Aeion Affiliates manages, tracks, and pays the partners you bring, but it doesn't run a discovery network to source them. And if you're an early-stage SaaS that just needs the simplest possible Stripe-based referral tracking bolted onto an existing stack, Rewardful's single-purpose setup is hard to beat and quick to stand up. Aeion Affiliates makes the most sense once your Commerce, Billing, and CRM data already live in Aeion OS and you want the affiliate ledger sharing that exact same schema — deterministic checkout attribution and automatic refund clawbacks are things a platform sitting outside your database can't do reliably.
Frequently Asked Questions
Very simple. You can import your existing affiliates and their current ledger balances via CSV. They will receive an invite to their new Aeion Partner Portal to access their codes.
We strongly emphasize deterministic discount code tracking over cookies, as modern browser privacy updates (ITP, third-party cookie blocking) make cookie tracking increasingly unreliable for accurate payouts. Cookie-based attribution with a configurable window is available as a fallback for organic traffic.
Yes. Build Bronze/Silver/Gold tiers with flat-fee or percentage payouts, plus per-product, per-category, per-segment, and time-based ramp rules. Tier status recalculates automatically on every qualifying conversion, and two-level (MLM-style) structures are supported when you want them.
Every commission is recorded in an immutable, append-only double-entry ledger. When an affiliate crosses their payout threshold, Aeion fires a payout-ready event — Stripe Connect and PayPal work out of the box, or you can wire the event into an ACH batch export or your own billing adapter. Batching, idempotency, and reconciliation back to the ledger are handled either way.
A reversal entry is created automatically in the affiliate's ledger the moment the refund is processed in Commerce, because both share the same database — no manual clawback at month-end, and nothing in the ledger is ever overwritten, only appended.
