Aeion Commerce for B2B Wholesale
B2B wholesale isn't B2C with bigger orders — it's a different operating model. Aeion Commerce ships the primitives: per-customer price lists, company accounts for multi-buyer hierarchies, manual + net-30 invoicing alongside cards, minimum order quantities, ACH + wire payment methods, B2B-specific access control. No $300/mo "B2B Edition" add-on like Shopify or BigCommerce.
What B2B Wholesale Actually Needs
B2B sells to other businesses, not consumers. The model differences cascade:
Per-Customer Pricing via Price Lists
Price lists let you set per-customer, per-company, or per-tier pricing without duplicating your product catalog.
Company Hierarchies
Company accounts enable multi-buyer purchasing with role-based permissions.
Net-30 + Invoice Workflow
B2B wholesale rarely uses cards. The flow:

FAQ
No — same deployment. Aeion's multi-store support lets one deployment run a B2C storefront (retail prices, card payments) AND a B2B portal (wholesale prices, net terms). Different domains, same backend.
On the company record — state, certificate number, expiration. The Tax integration honors the exemption + tracks expiration; alerts when certificates approach expiry.
Sales rep creates a draft order in the admin UI with custom pricing → sends to customer via email link → customer accepts → draft becomes a confirmed order. Order status tracks quote → pending → confirmed → fulfilled.
There's no EDI connector in Aeion Singularity today — no built-in mapping for purchase order / acknowledgment / ASN / invoice EDI document types. Large-retailer EDI trading-partner setups would need custom integration work.
Payments are recorded manually against the invoice. Typical pattern: bank reconciliation CSV imports daily, matches incoming payments to outstanding invoices, marks orders paid — this is a manual/ops workflow, not an automated bank-feed integration.
Aeion doesn't run credit checks itself — the credit limit field is operator-set based on your underwriting. There's no built-in workflow that automatically holds orders above the limit, and no Experian/D&B connector in Singularity — external credit-check integration would be custom work.
