You bring your own Twilio account and pay Twilio directly; Connect mints WebRTC softphone tokens, generates the TwiML for your IVR flows, runs live monitor/whisper/barge supervision, sends SMS and MMS with real delivery states, and registers your A2P 10DLC brand and campaigns. Every inbound webhook is signature-verified before it's trusted.

Your own. Connect is carrier-agnostic and bring-your-own — you connect a Twilio account and pay Twilio at their rates. Aeion charges the flat platform fee and adds no per-minute or per-message markup on top.
In the browser. Connect mints Twilio Voice SDK access tokens for a WebRTC softphone and refreshes them automatically before they expire, so long calls and long supervisor sessions don't drop. Desk-phone endpoints are supported too.
Yes — fully, on both the phone and browser softphone endpoints, via Twilio Conference participant coaching flags. This is the most complete supervision of the four carriers; Telnyx and Plivo are phone-only and Vonage has no coaching primitive.
Natively. Connect registers your Trust Hub Customer Profile, A2P Brand, and Campaign — either through Twilio's Trust Hub or directly with The Campaign Registry — and receives status updates on an HMAC-gated TCR webhook. If the required bundle SIDs aren't configured, it falls back to an honest no-op adapter rather than claiming registration.
Every Twilio webhook is verified with Twilio's request signature (`validateRequest`) before Connect processes it; an unsigned or mis-signed request is rejected.
Connect maps Twilio status callbacks to canonical states — queued, sending, sent, delivered, failed, undelivered — and persists them with timestamps and error codes, so you see what the carrier actually reported, not an optimistic "sent".
