Yes. Aeion Pro covers Plaid costs up to 10 accounts; Enterprise covers unlimited. Above 10 accounts on Pro: small per-account fee applied; usually still cheaper than direct Plaid billing.
Use OFX/QFX/CSV import — every major bank exports OFX/QFX or CSV; upload monthly statement to Aeion; reconciliation engine processes the same way.
Each bank account is tracked as a separate connection. The reconciliation report can be per-account or consolidated, and the cash position dashboard aggregates across all of them.
Plaid permission scope is per-account; you only see accounts the authorized user has access to. For owner + spouse joint accounts, only the connected user's view is available.
Aeion subscribes to Plaid's transaction-sync webhook (new data triggers an immediate sync) and item-error webhooks (a broken connection is flagged for reauth). Configure notification rules in /admin/finance/notifications.
Plaid supports credit-card accounts (read-only — Aeion can't initiate payments). Transactions flow same as bank feeds. For corporate cards (Brex, Ramp, etc.), prefer their native API integration — richer data than Plaid.
Plaid's access_token validity varies by bank — some forever, some 90 days. Re-auth happens via Plaid Link (1-click); user gets notification when needed.
Most banks: 1-15 minute delay after transaction posts. Some smaller banks: 24h overnight batch. Webhooks fire as soon as Plaid sees the data.
Plaid is expanding EU coverage; Aeion supports it as it lands. For broader EU, use Aeion's Open Banking adapter (Yapily, TrueLayer) — same shape, different provider.
Aeion's bank-feed sync queues; backlogs process when Plaid recovers. Manual CSV import always available as fallback. Plaid uptime SLA: 99.95%.
