Aeion Fleet + OBD-II via Aeion Bridge

OBD-II (On-Board Diagnostics II) is the universal vehicle diagnostic protocol mandated on every car / truck / bus sold since 1996. ELM327 chipsets (built into $10-30 USB or Bluetooth dongles from a dozen vendors) implement OBD-II in a standard way. Aeion Bridge reads ELM327 dongles to extract engine RPM, vehicle speed, fuel level, coolant temperature, DTC codes (P0XXX), and many other Parameter IDs (PIDs) — no proprietary hardware, no vendor lock-in, no 3-year contract.
