Aeion Marketing + CDP & Data Platforms
Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) become the source-of-truth for customer data in many enterprise architectures. Aeion Singularity has a read-only connector that imports your Segment workspace configuration (sources, destinations, tracking plans, functions) for visibility. But most Aeion tenants don't need a separate CDP at all — CRM, Commerce, Marketing, and BI already share one tenant database, so customer identity, purchase history, and engagement data are unified without an extra layer.

FAQ
Not directly. Aeion Singularity can import your Segment workspace configuration (sources, destinations, tracking plans) read-only, but it doesn't ingest Segment's customer event stream. For unified customer data, most tenants use Aeion's own CRM/Commerce/Marketing/BI (which already share one database) instead of running a CDP.
Aeion CRM + Commerce + Marketing + BI share one tenant database, so Marketing segments can filter directly on CRM and Commerce data without a sync step. Most CDP needs are covered natively for this reason.
That's an existing-investment decision. Aeion doesn't require you to give up your CDP, but it also doesn't currently sync customer events with it — the two run independently unless you build a custom bridge.
Not today — there's no Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, Hightouch, or Census connector. If reverse ETL is a hard requirement, that would need a custom integration.
It's a manual (or manually re-triggered) import via Singularity, not a live sync — re-run it when your Segment workspace configuration changes.
Aeion Marketing segments aren't capped by an external CDP's MAU/event pricing, since segmentation runs directly against your Aeion data.
Going Aeion-native keeps customer data inside your Aeion tenant instead of also replicating it into a third-party CDP's infrastructure.
Not built-in today. There's no reverse-ETL path from Snowflake/BigQuery/Databricks into Aeion Marketing.
