Session persistence:

Your desktop layout (open windows, positions, theme) saves to your browser automatically on every change — no explicit save step needed. Close browser → reopen on the same device/browser → windows as left.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. It's the same admin app you already use, delivered as a windowed environment inside any modern Chromium-based browser. There's nothing to download and nothing to keep updated — reload the page and you're current.

Yes. Your session — open windows, positions, sizes, theme, virtual desktops, and pinned apps — persists continuously to local storage on every change, so reopening on the same device and browser restores you exactly where you left off. No explicit save step.

The session is your live layout that auto-restores on reload. A workspace is a named layout you save on purpose — like "Morning Standup" or "Weekly Review" — with tags and a thumbnail, holding up to 30 windows. Mark one as default and it loads when you open the desktop. Sessions are automatic; workspaces are deliberate presets you switch between.

Drag a window toward a screen edge or corner. The top edge maximizes, the left or right edge snaps to that half, and a corner snaps to that quarter — nine window states in all. Drag it away and it returns to its previous floating size and position.

System shortcuts like `Ctrl+Shift+D` (toggle desktop), `Meta+K` (command palette), and `Alt+Tab` (cycle windows) are read-only. Your own custom shortcuts — a label, icon, target route, and Start Menu grid position — can be added, edited, or removed freely under Collections → Shortcuts.
