Aeion Desktop for Multi-Monitor Power Users
Power-user admins juggle 4-12 modules at once across multiple monitors. Aeion Desktop turns that juggling into a saved layout — CRM Deals top-left, Helpdesk Inbox top-right, Commerce Orders bottom-left, BI Dashboard bottom-right, one click to restore the exact arrangement. Aero Snap to quarter-screen, Alt+Tab between windows, per-window scroll state preserved across reloads. Glass theming + transparency + animated wallpapers — admin UI that doesn't feel like every other SaaS.

FAQ
No. Aeion Desktop is browser-based — runs in any modern Chromium browser, with zero download or install.
Each window is a React route; lazy-loaded on first open. Open windows render at full performance; minimized windows pause. 20+ windows on a beefy machine is fine.
Aeion Desktop windows aren't monitor-aware in the sense of detecting which physical display a window sits on — they're positioned within whatever browser viewport you drag them into. Run a maximized browser window per monitor (or one ultra-wide window spanning multiple) and drag windows into place; positions and sizes save with the workspace.
Single-window mobile-optimized fallback. Desktop UI activates above ~1024px width.
Aeion Desktop windows live INSIDE a single browser tab — no tab spam. The browser sees one tab; the desktop renders 20+ windows inside it.
Each window IS a module view. The view inside the window is whatever the module ships. Aeion Desktop is the windowing shell, not a custom dashboard builder.
Not yet — saved workspaces are per-user today. Team-wide shared/subscribed layouts are a reasonable future direction, not a shipped feature.
Yes. The core window shortcuts (Ctrl+Shift+Arrow to snap, Ctrl+Shift+M to maximize, Alt+Tab to cycle) are remappable, and your Start Menu launcher shortcuts are configurable per-user via the desktop icon grid.
Backdrop-blur is GPU-accelerated. On modern GPUs: negligible. On older hardware: switch to Solid theme.
Aeion Desktop chrome itself works offline (last-loaded state). Module data requires connection (unless you have offline caching for specific data via the module).
