Vinyl, apparel, and posters ship through live Printful and Printify API clients — real order submission, shipping-rate lookups, cancellation, and signature-verified webhooks that advance order status to shipped and delivered. Manual mode is an honest no-op fallback for when you route fulfillment yourself. If a provider isn't connected, the dashboard says so plainly rather than pretending an order shipped.

Real. Both adapters make authenticated HTTPS calls to the provider APIs for order submission, shipping rates, and cancellation, and verify inbound webhooks with HMAC-SHA256. Only `manual` mode is a deliberate no-op — it returns a synthetic id and leaves fulfillment to you.
Not by default. Auto-generated print orders start in `manual` mode. To auto-fulfill through a provider, set the order's `fulfillmentMode` to `printful`/`printify` and configure that tenant's provider credentials.
It's treated as non-fatal — the order's status still advances so an admin can follow up, rather than the order vanishing. The failure is logged; the record stays actionable.
Via the provider's signature-verified webhook. Once verified, Aeionica advances the print order (shipped / delivered) and stores `trackingNumber`, `carrier`, `shippedAt`, and `deliveredAt` on the row.
No — there's no catalog sync. You reference each provider variant by its `externalVariantId` on the line item; Aeionica submits orders against that mapping.
