Aeionica for Indie Musician Album Launches
Indie musicians lose 10-30% of revenue to platform fees (Bandcamp 10%, Patreon 12%) + spend $1-3K/year on AI mastering + stem services (LANDR $15/track, LALAL.AI $15/track). Aeionica covers the full release lifecycle — pre-launch marketing blueprint, AI mastering, fan subscriptions, 3D exhibitions, synced listening parties, forensic watermark, print fulfillment — at platform tier with 0% transaction fees. Keep 100% of music revenue.

Not at all. The Starter tier ($29/mo, 14-day free trial) covers media library, advanced player, spatial audio, and 3D exhibitions — plenty for a hobbyist building an audience. Only upgrade to Pro ($59/mo) once you have something to sell and want 10 license tiers, fan subscriptions, and AI mastering/stem separation. Total cost for a first-year hobbyist: $348.
Aeionica focuses on direct-to-fan revenue (where you keep 100%). For DSP distribution (Spotify / Apple / Tidal), use existing DistroKid / CD Baby (those go through DSP's own ingestion pipelines that Aeionica can't replace). Aeionica complements DSP distribution; it doesn't replace it. Most indie musicians use both.
Yes — the migration CLI imports your full Bandcamp catalog (tracks, artwork, descriptions, and fan list) in one command. Your email list can also come over separately via a standard CSV/Mailchimp import into Aeion CRM. See the migration walkthrough on the Aeionica overview.
AI mastering runs through LANDR or eMastered's cloud API (whichever key you've configured) or falls back to a local Matchering/ffmpeg pass — good for indie / lo-fi / casual releases. Human mastering is still better for high-stakes vinyl, sync placement, and audiophile releases. Aeionica's Audio Engineer Agent generates the AI master and flags tracks it thinks would benefit from human review.
Yes — the fingerprint survives normal MP3 compression and DAW processing. If a leaked file appears on a torrent site, an admin can upload it to the forensic extraction tool and get the buyer record back. That extraction/investigation tool requires admin access plus the Aeionica Enterprise extension — applying the watermark itself is available on lower tiers, but tracing a leak back to a buyer is an Enterprise capability.
Standard pattern: $1 (supporter), $5 (early access), $10 (bonus content), $25 (signed merch), $50 (VIP). Most successful indies have 3-5 tiers. Aeionica's analytics show which tier converts best for your fanbase.
Aeionica's Sync tier ($500-5000 per project) is for film/TV/game placement. The contract PDF includes full warranty representations needed by buyers (clearance, exclusivity terms, mechanical rights). Most syncs are individually negotiated; Aeionica handles the paperwork.
They're new — most indie fans don't have VR. But: 3D exhibitions are browser-accessible (no app, no VR required). Listening parties = synced playback + chat in a 3D venue. Treated as a unique fan experience marker, not the primary monetization. Adoption growing fast.
Printful + Printify are the same backends used by big-name indie artists. Quality matches their direct services. Aeionica adds integrated cart + automatic order routing + per-product profit-margin tracking.
They don't need to be — your Aeionica store is web-accessible to anyone. Fans buy without account for free streaming + free downloads; account required only for license purchases (because of watermark). Most fans signup in 15 seconds via magic link.
