Aeion Cut + YouTube Live
YouTube is the largest streaming platform — preferred for educational + how-to + business content. Aeion's YouTube Live integration is RTMPS-based: you create the live stream in YouTube Studio as usual, then add YouTube as a destination in Aeion. Aeion handles the RTMPS push, simulcasts alongside Twitch + Facebook + custom RTMP destinations, and runs automated highlight-clip extraction on the recording.

FAQ
No. Aeion streams to YouTube over RTMPS using the stream key you copy from YouTube Studio — there's no OAuth flow or Data API connection to authorize.
Yes — each channel's live stream gets its own RTMPS URL + key from YouTube Studio, which you add as a separate destination in Aeion. Common for agencies managing multiple creator channels.
Auto-extracting your own stream archive is fully compliant. Auto-extracting other creators' content would be copyright violation; Aeion doesn't do that.
No. YouTube revenue (ads + super chat + memberships) goes directly to creator's YouTube account. Aeion is software; no revenue share.
Not currently — Aeion doesn't ingest YouTube Live Chat, so there's no in-Aeion moderation surface for it. Moderate from YouTube Studio directly.
Not currently supported — Aeion doesn't ingest super chat events.
Rotate the key from YouTube Studio, then update the destination config in Aeion with the new key — there's no automatic re-fetch since there's no API connection.
That's a YouTube Studio setting on the broadcast itself. Aeion's relay adds a small amount of its own processing latency on top regardless of which YouTube mode you pick.
Supported. Requires capable upstream bandwidth (~25-50 Mbps for 4K60). Aeion's encoder handles 4K.
Both are configured in YouTube Studio the same way as any other channel; Aeion just relays the RTMPS feed to whichever broadcast you've set up.
