Aeion Gift Cards for Corporate Employee Rewards
Companies spending billions annually on employee gifting + client appreciation programs rely on Tango Card / Tremendous / Awardco / Reward Gateway / Bonusly — paying $300-2K/mo platform fees plus 5-15% transaction markups. Aeion Gift Cards delivers the same capabilities natively with bulk issuance, branded delivery, multi-currency, employee + client portals, and zero per-card fees. Walkthroughs for employee recognition, client gifting, and partner appreciation programs.

FAQ
Tango is mature for enterprise and provides a wide multi-brand reward catalog (Visa, Amazon, and hundreds of other brands). Aeion Gift Cards issues stored-value cards redeemable on the tenant's own storefront — same DB as company commerce + CRM, $0 transaction fees, no platform markup. It's not a replacement for Tango's multi-brand catalog; it's the right fit when the reward is "credit toward our own products," not "any store."
Aeion issues cards redeemable on the tenant's own storefront. It does not natively issue Visa, Amazon, or other third-party branded cards — that would require integrating a provider like Tango Card or Tremendous alongside Aeion, not something Aeion ships out of the box.
US tax law: business gifts to clients are generally deductible up to $25/year per recipient; higher amounts may need documentation. Aeion doesn't auto-flag this — a tenant would compute per-recipient totals from gift-card transaction history themselves.
Each card carries a currency, and you can issue directly in the recipient's local currency. There's no automatic FX conversion between currencies — a card's currency must match at redemption.
Per-region data handling follows the same platform-wide governance Aeion applies elsewhere. There's no gifting-specific "recognition feed opt-out" feature today.
Visibility into who sent what is whatever your admin permissions allow on the Gift Cards collections — there's no separate public/private recognition-feed toggle.
Scheduled delivery of an already-issued card is a real field (`scheduledDelivery`, processed by a background worker). Triggering issuance automatically off an event like a birthday would be a custom Aeion Blueprint workflow you build, reading from whatever employee data source you maintain — it isn't a pre-built template.
Not a built-in gift-card feature. Aeion Blueprint has generic approval-step building blocks (used for things like expense approvals) that a tenant could adapt for gift approvals, but there's no shipped "gift approval" workflow.
Not auto-enforced. A tenant tracking the $25/year US deduction limit would compute it from gift-card transaction history.
Bulk-generate creates up to 1,000 cards per call; a 10,000-card run means multiple calls. There's no built-in email-delivery rate limiter or per-recipient CSV binding — the tenant handles recipient assignment and send pacing (or routes the send through Aeion Marketing, which does have real delivery/open/click tracking).
Aeion Singularity has real connectors for both, for pulling employee data into your own records. Aeion doesn't have a dedicated HR module, and gift-card permissions aren't automatically tied to an org chart — that mapping is on the tenant to build.
Yes. Unredeemed cards can be disabled by an admin, and redemptions can be refunded back onto the card. Audit log of the change is preserved.
