Production Architecture

Aeion Production orchestrates the full production lifecycle — script, schedule, budget, crew, and on-set operations — in one system across 8 subsystems. AI handles script breakdown, continuity checks, and shoot-day scheduling automatically. Same-database integration with /modules/finance (budgets → GL ledger), /modules/cut (post-production handoff), /modules/crm (talent + agency relationships), /modules/hr (crew employment). Web-native + mobile-friendly for on-set crew access.

Script Breakdown — AI-Driven

Upload a screenplay — Final Draft FDX or Fountain plaintext — and Aeion's AI reads it the way a script supervisor would:

Scheduling — Stripboard + Optimization

Each scene becomes a "strip" — location, cast required, time of day, page count. Strips are arranged into shoot days with drag-and-drop reordering, and day breaks ("banners") separate one day from the next.

Budget — Forecasting + Audit

Budget structure (AICP-compliant): above-the-line (writer, director, producer, top-billed cast), below-the-line (crew, locations, equipment, post-production), and other (insurance, legal, contingency) — using standard AICP account codes.

On-Set Operations

Daily Production Report (DPR): auto-generated every evening from scenes shot vs. scheduled, camera setups completed, cast and crew call/wrap times and meal breaks, camera reports (setups, takes, footage shot), mileage + per diems, wear-and-tear notes, weather conditions, and any safety incidents. Distributed to producer, UPM, and studio the next morning.

Event Flow — Cross-Module

Production keeps every downstream system in sync automatically:

FAQ

Yes. Each unit is a sub-production with own schedule + crew + call sheets. Cross-unit coordination via Aeion's UI.

Aeion handles Unicode + bidirectional text. Script revisions in original language; translated companion documents for international crew.

Major unions covered (SAG/DGA/IATSE/Teamsters). Specific production-type agreements (e.g., low-budget agreement, web series agreement) may need manual configuration; consult Aeion's support.

Co-production patterns supported. Per-company access controls; budget visibility per partner.

For well-formatted scripts: 95%+ cast + locations + major elements. Less common elements (specific prop variants) ~80%. Always human-reviewed before finalization.

Tested at this scale. Database performance optimized for production-scale data; scheduling computations sub-second.

Aeion's mobile UI works offline for short periods; syncs on reconnect. For remote locations, satellite uplink or local cache.

Via /modules/cut. Aeion's production data feeds into post-production workflows.

Signed, tamper-evident audit log built to enterprise security standards. Used in production-related litigation as reliable evidence.
