Aeion Spatial for Architectural Visualization

Architectural visualization in VR + browser. Import Revit/SketchUp/Rhino/AutoCAD models; AI-generate furniture + interior decor; conduct multi-user client walkthroughs in VR (Quest, Vision Pro, Pico); real-time material + lighting changes during reviews; CRDT-synced annotations + design comments; embed interactive 3D on your firm's website. Replaces Lumion + Twinmotion + Enscape + custom VR stack at fraction of cost.

FAQ

Lumion is dedicated arch viz software — polished, fast renders, large asset library, expensive ($1500-3500). Aeion is broader platform — comparable rendering quality for most uses, includes VR + collaboration + AI generation, lower cost. Lumion better for top-tier photoreal stills; Aeion better for interactive + collaborative + VR workflows.

Twinmotion is Unreal-based; great real-time rendering. Aeion is web-based; comparable real-time quality; better collaboration. For solo desktop work, Twinmotion still slightly higher fidelity.

Enscape is Revit-integrated real-time renderer. Aeion is broader platform. For pure Revit workflow, Enscape is tighter; for multi-tool + VR + collaboration, Aeion wins.

Aeion's WebGPU ray tracer: 1-30 seconds per still (depends on complexity). For final marketing renders requiring 1-4K photoreal quality, Aeion's cloud rendering farm handles in 5-30 minutes.

Aeion's VR matches Lumion's VR quality in most cases. Both are real-time; both compromise for VR frame rates vs offline renders.

Aeion ships a curated PBR material library (wood, stone, fabric, metal, glass, paint). Smaller than Lumion's 5000+ asset library — but AI generation fills gaps for anything not in the built-in set.

Aeion supports HDRI lighting, sun position, GI via WebGPU ray tracing. Lumion's GI more refined for hero stills; Aeion's GI sufficient for most arch viz.

Aeion unique advantage. Client + architect simultaneously in same VR; CRDT-synced annotations. Lumion + Twinmotion are single-user.

Lumion: $1,500-3,500 perpetual. Twinmotion: $890/yr. Enscape: $700/yr. Aeion: $29/mo flat ($348/yr), unlimited users. Lower annual cost; different feature tradeoffs.

Browser-based; works on phone/tablet without VR. Clients can review designs on any device.

Aeion exports to glTF/USDZ. Re-import to V-Ray/Octane/Corona for final hero stills if needed. Use Aeion for the interactive + VR work; specialized renderers for the magazine cover.

Arch viz + VR walkthroughs + client collaboration.
